I prefer football betting but for some interest I stuck £10 on this today, I have just watched the race and if anyone else did, do you not agree that was simply perfection, I dont know a great deal about horses but watching that I can tell that was a win of sheer class and timing.

The horse used to have one bad jump in a race. Once it landed on top of a fence but still ended up winning. Did it make any scary mistakes today?

William hills.

fair enough. in ladbrokes its only one free bet per customer and you don't get the stake back with the winnings, surprised they let you get away with it.

I had Denman, who walloped Kauto Star in the last Gold Cup. Paul Nicholls has by far the most powerful stable in the jumping game, and has mopped up at Cheltenham in the big races such as the Champion chase and the World Hurdle. And he still manages to fit in time to go and watch Aston Villa from time to time!

The cashier's made an arse of that one then - no chance would they have been paying back the free bet stake.

Well done though - it's something that I might do myself some time.

When you put on the free bet they take your 'coupon' as cash. They don't know how you have paid for it. I'd say that it's more likely that you're the arse rather than the cashier:wink:

It stated clearly on the Ladbrokes coupon in the Sun that they don't pay out the stake on any winnings. I assumed they would click on a button which told the computer it was a free bet coupon so it identified when you went to collect.

But I don't work in a bookies so am unsure if common sense stuff like this is applied.
