Right guys for those off you who have the new type driving licence with your picture on it, check the expiry date of the picture part of the licence (Photocard) because if it runs out there an automatic £1000 fine if stopped by the police if your ever involved in a traffic accident or have to take your documents to the police station. Its only the paper part that's is valid for 70 years. We had an email sent to all departments explaining the problem one of our colleagues faced recently. Renew it before it runs out costs £17.50 a lot better than a £1000.

The date can be found at the front of the photocard beside the date you pased your test

I am sure one of the other conditions to obtain a license is to have good eye sight, something which you obviously don't have!!!
