Help needed here, please:

What, if any monthly/quarterly consumer (non-business) magazines do any of our members aged over 40 purchase/read on a regular basis ?

Or, alternatively, what might you be most likely to buy if you were just being reckless with £2-£4 or, what do you read that your other half maybe buys?

It does not matter what gender you are, or whatever hobbies/interests you may have only that you are Over 40 years old, (Sorry you young un's :greengrin)

If you would rather keep your reading habits private, you can pm me (BTW porn magazines are of no use anyway).

As a matter of record I don’t buy anything on a regular basis anymore, but I occasionally buy one of the ‘House’ or ‘Gardening’ titles, such as:

House & Garden and BBC Gardeners World.

Cheers and much appreciated
Carol

I subscribe to the music magazine Uncut and find it well worth the money. Other than that I'm not a magazine person.

Superbikes, Bike, Performance bikes, Fast bikes, Boxing monthly, FHM, Q, & whatever catches my eye at various airports. The young 'un likes his football mags so occassionally cast an eye over them, although there a bit like listening to "Motty" or Jimmy Hill for my taste.

I took out a years subscription to GQ :cool2: a couple of months back, as I received a mailing offering it for £12, but it's a bit too 'glossy' for my liking.

I'll buy Mojo or Uncut any time there's a feature on one of my faves or the cover CD looks worth investigating. Used to have Q on subs but it got very 'samey' and then Word, which was excellent, but was probably too good - I just found I wasn't getting through it each month.

A mate has When Saturday Comes on subs and passes it on to me when he finishes it.

I still get Reader's Digest.

Never been a subscriber but always liked a look on the few occassions when I got the chance to.

I like to read "die Zeit" not a magazine as such, but more of a weekly newspaper with a magazine.
