CHEATING chef Gordon Ramsay always relishes boasting about his glory days as a budding soccer star with Glasgow Rangers. But it's revealed it’s a load of codswallop created to fuel his ruthless bid for stardom.

For Ramsay NEVER “signed” for the Glasgow giants and NEVER played first team games for them—despite saying so on radio, in his autobiography and in a series of interviews.

And legendary Rangers coach Archie Knox—who the chef blames for “dumping” him from the club. “He must be a very confused individual. I was the manager of DUNDEE at the time.”

If the biggest concern the world's got just now is Gordon Ramsay being creative with his footballing past then we're laughing.

It must be a chef thing. There's this guy, Robert Irvine , who is on TV over here. He claimed he made wedding cake for Prince Charles and Princess Diana, was the personal chef for members of the royal family, and was the White House chef for a period. Turns out everything was either a lie or a huge exaggeration.

Not necessarily. I can't cook to save myself, but that doesn't stop Hollywood starlets like Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansen and Jessica Alba repeatedly describing me as the best lover they've ever had.

To be fair to Ramsey...he never really made a big thing about being at Rangers....he was to Rangers what Murdock was to Man Utd :agree:

But like vuck he didn't! Read the NOW piece. He's been blowing that trumpet for years.

Personally, I thought it all came out in the wash when he played in that Scotland England celebrity game. Never a player in his life. Looked like he had never kicked a ball in anger. And you can't hide that.
