What the hell is this?
I've been told this is the fastest growing website ever blah blah...but even though we've been told about it we don't actually know what it's all about!
I'm a regular listener to talksport and stan collymore was hosting the afternoon show in someones absense...and the lines of communication included "twitters".
These "twitters" provided some viewpoints...so it obviously a valid medium.
However, I still don't get it.

My slant on it is people post blogs on it, telling everyone what they are up to. You can do this via your email, net, blackberry etc and you can 'follow' that person and see what they are up to. I think you can also ask them questions which they can respond to. There are loads of celebrities signed up for it, a couple of the ones that are good to follow are apparently Jonathan Ross and Stephen Fry. I've signed up for it but don't really see what all the fuss is about. I follow one of my friends and she posts stuff like 'I'm away to make the tea' and 'should I put the washing out to dry' :bitchy: I can't really be bothered telling everyone what I'm up to every 5 minutes of the day. My life's really not that exciting! :gun:

I'm on there but it's fairly pish. However, I think as internet on mobile phones gets more popular, then it will become more relevant.

Its actually pretty creepy how you can track what people are doing. I'm always surprised how much personal stuff people post on the internet where anyone can see it.
