Can anyone tell me if its possible to head from Pilrig St , onto Leith Walk south, and onto Albert Street?
Not been down there in ages and know tram works were/are a nightmare.
So.... can I turn left from Leith Walk (south - ie heading towards City Centre) onto Albert Street?

West end (Leith Walk) of Albert Street is shut just now, but you can turn left onto Leith Walk and immediately turn right onto Iona St.. also takes you to Easter Road..... Problem solved and the detour is less than one block distance so it won't even burn up much petrol!

Glad to be of help!
On the way home last night (heading down Leith Walk) I noticed that they've just re opened Albert St (It had been shut for weeks !)
Dalmeny St is still shut off but Iona St and Albert St are OK.. Next one up (Brunswick Rd) is "semi" shut.. seems to be one way, but I've not managed to work out which "one way" that is.. therefore best avoided!
