Train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh

I'm heading back to Edinburgh from Aberdeen on Sunday but remember half reading that there are problems all over Scotland with faults, or I'm I just making it up?

Will it be ok to travel by train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh next Sunday or is bus the best option?

IIRC, they are doing maintenance on the trainlines so any trip from Aberdeen-Edinburgh is by bus put on by FirstScotRail I think

Check scotrails website. It appears that they bus you to Dundee then you get the train down from there.
