Anyone else watching? This isn't something they should've put on telly...no family should have that broadcast :bitchy: especially his younger son who keeps saying his Dad's going to die and he hates him

Don't see the problem, they are just showing what can happen to a family when there is someone that is like Gazza.

Drink and depression is a horrible combination and I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

I think the family are doing this as a last chance for him hoping that he will watch it and change.

I know, but surely with the reputation he has in England and after seeing what he's said in the paper the other day it's just made him worse.

Very harsh IMHO ch. When they married, I couldn't help having my doubts about Mrs Gascoigne's motives but AFAIK I think she's proved herself to be everything PG should have been happy with. They were married FFS and if Sheryl has used his money to provide for herself and their children sensibly then good on her. What would Paul have done with it by himself?! Just more of what he managed to do for the bulk of the programme having shunned the help and home of his family.

His problems may have already been there pre-professional football/fame/money but it always looks like he does absolutely nothing to help himself which at the end of the day, with the help that Sheryl and Mason in particular were offering him at the start of the programme, is what he should've done.

Bianca had her moment on the TV a couple of years ago on some Island Castaway programme but I got nothing from the programme to suggest that she was 'using' it as she featured very little by comparison.

And if the young lad has indeed been 'brainwashed' by the only parent he has properly known and who has cared for him and looked after him all his life then that's fair enough.

I feel sorry for Paul Gascoigne but I feel a hell of a lot more sorry for Sheryl and her children.

Particularly agree with that. :agree:

Especially for the eldest, 19 year old son.

All he wants to spend time with his with his Dad, sadly doesn't look like that's ever going to happen.

:agree: I felt particularly for the older boy - he just wanted to be with his dad.

It was hard viewing - Gazza is a total mess and not long for the world if he keeps returning to the sauce.

Sure I read somewhere he is in rehab again.

It said at the end of the programme that he was back in rehab again. :agree:

Very harsh to be honest. Personally thought the family came over very well, the kids seemed well mannered and decent as did Sheryl IMO. Personally think the kids and the mother will have more than earned whatever money gasgoigne has thrown in their direction.
