Anyone else got it? :dunno:
Eventually got it along with my broadband after loads of complaint calls to BT after having loads of hassle switching my phone and broadband to my new house. :grr:
It seems pretty crap and not worth 14 bucks a month. Ok, you get sky one and another couple of channels but there are a lot of the freeview channels that you don't get.
I'm thinking of cancelling it in the next few days, I just don't think its worth the money and I think I can get cheaper broadband and satellite tv with sky.
Thoughts anyone?

I'm getting mine on Monday and looking forward to it - its basically a freeview recorder with a twin tuner - watch and record different channels and you can pause live TV. A similar box of the quality of the BT one is around £150 and I've read a good number of great reviews of it.
Mine is only costing £30 for the box and £30 connection fee (although the connection fee is waived as their system goosed my first order) so really £30 all in for a £150-200 160gb freeview recorder. No subscription, the box is now mine to keep. No £14 monthly cost for the on-demand stuff as my line is not fast enough and I didn't want it anyway. Much better deal than paying £14 a month over an 18 month contract! I think this offer ended on Dec 31st.

You see that sounds not too bad, but I had the £14 a month crap thing that I felt I got bullied into when setting my broadband up. Didn't realise the monthly thing was for the on-demand bit or I would never have taken it as not interested.
However, as I said in previous post, there's a lot of freeview channels you don't get and when you're used to them then you don't want to go back, especially having to pay extra for the privilege.
Phoned BT 2 days ago and cancelled it anyway, the Setanta card they gave me never worked so that was one of the many rants I gave them about their crap telephone, broadband and vision service!! :grr:

I will see when mine arrives what channels I do and don't get.
My broadband was crap but is getting progressivley faster - I can only get .5 - .75mb BB on my line no matter the provider. Since plugging straight into the line to the exchange my BB is getting better and better. Managed to download at 400kb/s yesterday downloading the new Scrubs episodes via torrents! :top marks

Works great, get all the channels I get from my Sony TV (built in freeview)and same channels as my bedroom TV freeview.
Very happy with it and just ordered a HDMI cable as the box will upscale to 1080i as per my TV's highest resolution. :top marks
