Ooooh! I KNOW it's been done a million times!

However, it's My tuppence worth now.

Stunning production. Brilliant story. Fantastic music. Great atmosphere.

Go and see it NOW or forever be a worse fan than me.

Merry Xmas and a Great New Year to ALL my fellow Hibees. Lets get those positive vibes going for 2 Derby wins to kick off the New Year with aplomb!

NB: The conker season is now behind us, but, remember; placing your unused conkers in a good, cool, dry place now (especially if they've started 'sweating' already, you lucky conkerteer!), will pay dividends next season!

And Kids! Don't ask any family member for a fight this festive season; always let Dad sort it out.

Laters!

Think you posted with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek - either that or you've had a wee bit too much Xmas cheer

My tuppenceworth having seen it last night was whilst it was enjoyable it was only that.

Have seen much better shows with much better production.

Not many with better songs though

Got to agree...storyline was weak and has little or nothing directly to do with Leith.

The songs were good but really I only enjoyed the last 5 minutes when finally there was some energy to the performance..if they had manged to have the whole show like that then it would have been fantastic but really the only good part of this show is hearing some classic proclaimers the rest of it was very average.

I hate musicals and am not a big fan of the Proclaimers, preferring Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy album to the twins cheesy singalongs.

I have to say though, that SOL was one of the most enjoyable evenings I've spent. Great piece of writing by Steven Greenhorn, a committed cast and the songs worked better for me on stage than they do on record, stands, public transport, function hall or funeral parlour.
