You're right, Steve, solid proof that Americans are mental. ;)

I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion in the first place and I agree that it's crazy that this is still making headlines but I do think that it's good that cases are revisited when there appear to have been anomalies.

And let's not blame the Americans for a BRITISH organisation giving this story more press coverage.

Mind you, some are happy about a "right tit" making news 4 years later

Whereas in this country we NEVER pay heed to nonsensical 'news stories' about media celebrities like Posh and Becks, Jonathan Ross, Russell Brand, Wayne Rooney, Jade Goody....

I mean, OUR news services never give media celebs and football morons free publicity, do they?

A nation that tolerates Big Brother, Jonathan Ross, and Ant & Dec has no right to be calling any other nation 'mental'.

Couldn't agree more. I almost want to cry when I see yet another "light entertainment" (read: brain-dead arserot) reality tv programme added to the roster.

I can't imagine we will still be banging on about Ross and Brand in 4 years time though.

Jade Goody and her pishy daily traumas are still newsworthy. How is this?? Why has she released - oh the irony - a "Keep Fit video" and (probably) about 4 autobiographies!!

I guess we won't be going on about that incident "per se" in 4 years, but we're not that far away from it as long as talentless cretins like those mentioned are not only "made" famous but have that position maintained by the slavering masses!!

Just to re-iterate, the article linked is from the BBC. I've not seen this mentioned on the news over here though. I am sure it's been covered somewhere but it's not BIG news.
