First it was cannabis and now it is prostitution - the Labour Party seems to have developed a prudish streak. I have always taken the position of 'no victim, no crime' and I find it difficult to understand how I am so out of step with the Labour Party on this - after being a supporter for such a long time I mean.
I am totally opposed to trafficking, whether it be for sex or for cockle picking, but I really don't see how banning prostitution improves anyone's lot at all.
