Fair play to you and well done for raising some money.
I'm gonna get slaughtered for saying this but IMO I'd rather raise money for other charities that I feel are more worthwhile and don't get so much publicity. :duck:

I'm ashamed to say I've raised or donated nothing yet.
If they put girls aloud on again I might change my mind:greengrin

Can't see what the fuss is about them TBH.
Take off all the make-up they wear and they'd be a bunch of grunters. :cool2:

Probably...that ginger one just about gets away with it with full face cake.

£896 between me and a couple friends
Where I work, last year we raised £28,000, but we did not get any publicity because of the type of work we do..... Defence
BTW, The BBC did eventually send someone along to collect the money.
This year I am glad to report, the company raised £30,000 and because of the antics/politics of last year, the Sick Kids Hospital have now solely benefited.

We raised over £700 at school.
Children in Need is not one of my favourite charities. Although I agree it does invaluable work, so do many other charities that are struggling to even keep afloat in these times of financial hardship.
Children in Need does things that I feel our government should do, whereas charities in the third world, for example, do work that their governments cannot do.
