The £ is down to 1.16 against the euro and 1.43 against the dollar.

Ouch.

I kind off think your right but as we have a variable mortgage and no savings we are actually much better off than we were 12 months ago :agree:

Still must be sensible and put the money we have left away for a rainy day :grr:

I got 2.42 AUD to the pound at the beginning of the month.:thumbsup: It's down to about 2.05 now though.

I went to Barbados in July where I got
3.85 to the £
now its 2.80

I agree with Turkey and Egypt but don't fancy Bulgaria.

Dubai is another one.

working in the travel industry we have noticed much more interest in the black sea resorts around Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria etc. Give it a few years and it wont be unusual for people to be going to the former USSR for their holidays!!! :agree:
