Bit of advice

Hi everyone,

I started a thread about buying a new home as we've been offered a huge discount on a new build home however there is a small problem standing in the way.

Myself and Mrs Houchy were looking at having a some work done on our current home and had signed up to complete in December.

The builders of this new house are looking for us to complete in December so I don't know what to do about the garage conversion. As we had signed a contract and have had the surveyor out etc, I don't think I can pull out (always found pulling out to be a problem).

My thoughts were to contact the building warrant dept at the council and see if they can decline the application for a warrant.

Bit naughty I know but only thing I can think of.

Any other suggestions?

Seems a bit drastic but you've given me a very good idea which is along the same lines to what you are suggesting:thumbsup:
