Stabbing at The Rainbow

On friday someone got stabbed at The Rainbow pub in clermiston/drum brae area. Anyone shed any light on what happened? Been told that there was around 20 people involved, a few in hospital, a couple of 16 year olds due in court.

I passed not long before it happened judging by what I saw. Looked like about 15 people involved fighting in the middle of the road. One of the guys nearly got hit by a car when he jumped back onto the other side of the road. Couldnt really tell much else of what was going on tho :agree:

Know the 3 guys that were stabbed.

The one that was hurt the most and was in intensive care is out of intensive care now and in a stable state im sure youll be pleased to hear.

I was dropping a lady friend off she lives on the road parralell to that...drove past just as the ambulance arrived...looked like a riot had taken place! I had originally thought a car crash but as I got closer there were no cars...

I heard it wasnt actually at the rainbow but in what used to be the BP garage now run as a car wash.

An argument broke out when a guy was polish-ing his car.

Went up to Rainbow for pint to watch Aalborg-Celtic game on Tuesday and it was still closed off, had not realised it must have been for last 3 weeks.

Not my favourite pub and a bit Hearts dominated (though odd Hibs bus has run from there in the past) but not many pubs in that area so hope it is not closing, anyone have information?
