I need to buy some rechargeable AA batteries for my camera but I don't really know what all the numbers mean, e.g. 2100mAh or 2450 mAh.

Can anyone shed light on this mystery for me?

The higher the number the better as it is an indicator of battery life.

When I bought my digital camera it came with 1800 mAH AAs - they were rubbish and I got fewer than 10 pictures off each charge. I replaced them with 2700mAH and they now last ages, so definitely worth spending a bit more on the better ones.

Morrisons are selling them in a pack of 2 for £1.99 and so far I have taken over 400 photos on one set of batteries! :thumbsup:

I'd always trust a womans advice on rechargeable batteries,

we all know they need to keep the batteries charged:greengrin
