i was their in April mate, and going back next year (same hotel), great place depending on what type of holiday you are after.....if you are looking for a wild one steer clear, naama bay is pretty good, but still not party central. if you are looking for a relaxing fortnight and bit of scuba diving etc defo the place to go. We also did the day trip to Cairo and the pyramids as well as quad biking in the desert, both highly recommended.

Was there in June. We stayed in the Reef Oasis Blue Bay. Best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Honestly, I was bored for the last 10 days. It's pool or beach and that's your only choices, except a couple of pricy day trips.

The Cairo trip is definitely worth doing, but the diving I felt was a disappointment. We saw a lot more fish snorkelling off the pier than deep underwater.

I liked it but I'm the kind of person who likes culture. There's none in Sharm. It's a city manufactured for tourism. It isn't real. Not for me but phenomenal if you like sun and sea.

Went in August, had a fantastic holiday and would like to go back next year. We did a lot of excursions, Cairo ( the Pyramids), Luxor, Quad biking and the Bedouin experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it,I just love Egypt and the weather is scorching. apparently they have had no rain since 1997. :greengrin

Was there for a week in Feb, really enjoyed it. Stayed in a hotel called Saint Georges Three Corners, staff couldnt do enough to help you.
Was in Naama Bay the night Egypt won the African nations cup, atmosphere was great!
Weather was up at 27 degrees too which was good!

Went with my girlfriend in june and we both hated it and in the end left four days early but that was mainly due to how bad and unsafe our hotel was

Supose it depends on who you go with but being in an arab country with a blonde girlfriend is a nightmare
