An individual has taken it upon themselves to graffiti my van.

My intention is to conduct an investigation to capture the culprit.

I have two questions:

How would one go about removing marker pen from the paintwork on the van without damaging the paintwork?

Does anyone know of someone in North Leith called Ylt ?

I was going to post along the lines of Nail Varnish remover or Hairspray but not sure if it would affect the van's paintwork.
