Alright folks,

After working in an office for almost 18 years I am giving serious consideration to a change in career, namely plumbing.

I have never done anything like this before and would need completely trained - does anyone know of any schemes or companies who provide this?

Telford College run plumbing/gas courses.

You'll need to do a skills test for the CITB, visit their web site and get the info there, they can get you a apprenticship (old persons one :wink:) which can usually be completed a year ealier than a younger person (cos they assume you'll be more mature and ready for the work)
