View Full Version : Happy 1st birthday hole
Did anyone else see this on Leith Walk today?
Some wit was celebrating the hole outside the bike shop's 1st birthday. A banner with the birthday message and some balloons had been tied to the fence that surrounds the hole.

Must admit, I'd have thought that Lothian and Border's finest would have had better things to do than, er, look into a hole in the ground!!!
It was someone havin a laugh ffs, and has been blown WAY out of proportion. So the workies took offence? I take offence at the fact that THEY have dug a hole, which has been there for a year and done bugger all about it. If they canny take the joke, the should have thought about it well before now and done what they're payed to do. Instead of sitting in the Leith Walk cafe eating rolls all day.

Sadly true about their lack of activity. But no because they want to, cos they can. Can there have been any job, anywhere, as badly run as what the people of Edinburgh are havin to put up with now, "Workies" work as directed. This job must be the worst directed job in the history of the british isles, there should be wholesale sackings for the absolute, utter mismanagement & disgrace that is going on in Leith & the East of Edinburgh. Seriously, bring in a rank amateur or someone with a sick sense of humour, they will do a bettern job of directing this fiasco than is currently happening. Sack the imbeciles at the top who are presiding over this shambles, start again wi anybody & an improvement would surely follow, cos up to now its been as if they WANT to inconvenience & hassle everybody to the max.
