I'm thinking of planning a holiday there sometime next year. My mate is going to be living over there so I might go visit.

Has anyone ever been ?

I have lots of questions. Places to stay, things to see etc etc :agree:

I was there a good while ago but its a fantastic place to visit.

The Ginza at night is like something from a sci-fi movie.

Imperial palace well worth a visit. Lots of massive beer halls filled with pi$$ed up japs is great entertainment. Dont go on the subway at rush hour, sardines springs to mind.

Place is teeming with people and cars and I felt that I was the only westerner there and was getting loads of stares but you get used to it. Just bow your head and they do it back.

I was there in August and the humidity was unbearable but plenty air conditioned places.

Sorry cant tell you of any pubs showing the Hibs game. :wink:
