Hey you, there's already a thread dedicated to the US Open. Find something else to talk about in a new thread!
Although I suppose it makes a change from yer thousands of posts on the Riordan thread in the past week!

 No bother.
Another good result for Murray yesterday, coming back from 2 sets down. He seems to enjoy showing off those biceps! :greengrin
Wonder how far he can go?

camera angle seems to have got a bit better, it was the first few games of the first set i couldn't see **** all :brickwall
Fair play to Murray, i said on a thread a few months ago that he had no chance of ever winning a major, still think it's unlikely due to the dominance of federer and nadal, however he's getting an awful lot closer than i ever thought he would.

IMO it's a matter of when, not if, Andy Murray will win his first Grand Slam. In recent months his form has been outstanding and he deserves to be 4th in the world when the new rankings come out next week.
More importantly, Murray himself believes that he can go all the way in a Grand Slam and that is half the battle. A lot of players have the talent to win Grand Slams but do not have the mental toughness to back that up and that is what ultimately lets them down. Andy Murray has mental toughness in abundance.
I don't know if Murray will win this year's US Open but it's just a matter of time as far as i'm concerned.
What I would say is, I think the only player capable of stopping Murray is Rafael Nadal. I honestly believe that Murray right now, would beat Roger Federer as he is still not playing very well and I think he would have a chance of beating Djokovic as well. No-one else is a serious threat IMO.
I will stick my neck out and say that if Murray manages to beat Nadal in the semis, he will go on to win the US Open.
