Lost by a company paid to hiold this info for RBS, wasn't RBS that lost it. The 3rd company involved was American express. You not read the article before you posted it?? Facts Gramo facts

RBS are responsible for their custiomers data whether they lose it themselves or through a 3rd party they have passed it to. It is unclear from the report where the AMEX got this data. Muppets the lot of them
