Suppose you would be ok, if like all the other dignitaries, you were confined to the Green Zone. They never see Iraq! :bitchy:

Don't get me wrong, some of the views are fantastic especially from the Kings Palace, it shows how much Kabul was built with defending the city in mind. The smell when you first touchdown though is something else and probably the worst I've ever encountered, Hong Kong harbour is a distant second. It took about 3 days of constant showering to clear the lingering odur :boo hoo:
Im going to do a gig in Afghanistan, I personally cant wait. REALLY looking foward to it.

Surely the Afghan people have suffered enough already?

does the fear of having your head cut off with a knife over the course of an hour not put you off?

Not in the slightest, thats all bull**** media propaganda and I dont believe it for one minute, plus if it happens it happens. I dont mind putting myself in harms way for a bigger cause, I do it every day with the kids in the gang unit in Glasgow where I do alot of work lol. In all seriousness, I speak a little Urdu/Arabic and my reasons for being there are strong and supported by the "militants" so its not a massive concern for me. The most worthwhile things to do in life are always the hardest.
