I've just moved to a new house and a complete different area where i used to stay, I have two kids 3 & 1 and they scream alot and i am a wee bit concerned that the new neighbours will be pissed off since its a quiet street im on and few old folk that seem to have been there for donkeys years.

If you have this next to you or on your street would it bother you? i seem to be more bothered on that other people think :boo hoo:

Its life. Folk will tolerate such unavoidable things. Especially the aulder folks - they'll empathise since they've likely 'been there, done that'. :agree:

yeah. fk 'em. as long as you are sound to your neighbours, then they won't mind your kids just being kids.

The fact that you're concerned about it probably makes you a pleasant neighbour.

They'll mind if you've got a "fk 'em" attitude.

You sound like a decent neighbour - people expect toddlers to make some noise. Don't worry.

Depends on what kind of people they are, my GF sister just moved into her new house and the neighbour next door is a old *****e. Constantly complains about the kids. Making up lies about them etc.

My thinking too :agree:
Most neighbours can put up with "life" noise quite well.
Your house will most likely be a quiet haven after 8pm.
My nightmare neighbour just moved away today

Hope you've got the bunting out SG  just wish I could get rid of mine's underneath me who seem to argue, shout and scream at each other night and day.:greengrin

When I lived in Wester Hailes, my eldest lad, no long after discovering he could walk, did a fair bit of stamping then. The guy below me was never away from my door complaining about the noise on his ceiling from my lad walking about the house and he couldnae get any sleep (this was during the day btw).

Thankfully, about the vast majority of neighbours are not bothered about noise from children having a good time playing. Good luck in yer new home mate

If they see that you are looking after the kids properly they'll be fine. Most places are a lot better for a few kiddies running around. Relax!
