I find it hard to understand how deliberately letting your child die of malnutrition is considered only manslaughter...probably down to making it an 'easier' prosocution but a mere 15 years for being directly repsonsible in killing your child is nothing short of scandelous.

There's probably a bleeding-heart brigade out there who will claim that she was mentally unstable (and it would be hard to argue otherwise, cos no sane person could or would starve their own child to death)...

I'd lock her in a cell and only feed her every few days (throw the odd dog **** in from time to time just so she could feel more at home)... let her see what it feels like!

This should be a life sentence/throw away the key job. Her 12 years is not appropriate and whatever the husbands part was the fact remains he has just a 5 year sentence after allowing the child to die and further lay dead in disgusting depravity.

They should relinquish their freedom for the rest of their lives for this monstrosity.

Im with you on that score.Why we pay tax to keep **** like that makes my blood boil let them starve and see how they like it. Manslaughter is a mockery should be murder. What kind of a world do we live in?:grr:
