Has anyone been to Eurodisney recently that could recommend a hotel.

Thanks in advance.

Pierre et Vacances, which is a chain of hotels, have a very nice one not far away. Lovely wee pool, and very comfy rooms. It's a longish walk from Disney, or else the train station isn't too far.

Last time i went - 3 years ago - I stayed at the Sante Fe in the complex but heard that a Holiday Inn was opening soon close to the parks.

Stayed there last time we were there about 18 months ago. It's a typical Holiday Inn, standards were excellent and we found it good value for money.

There's quite a few hotels near the park that aren't Disney-owned and they generally work out cheaper. There's a courtesy bus from them that does the rounds and takes you down to the park every half hour or so, so you don't need to walk it (a bit of a distance especially if you've got young kids with you).

My friend stayed in the Holiday inn at Easter and said it was as good as staying in any of the Disney Hotels and as said before has a shuttle bus. we are going in October for a week and staying in Davie Crocketts Ranch - I am more excited than the kids!

I stayed last time at Davie Crocketts Ranch. If i was to do it again there is a small travel lodge type place near the park which was cheap as chips clean and nearer to the park than the ranch. I know this as i arrived a day early and stayed there. It was near the rail station cant remember the name think it was Metro or something. Have a good time forget the bar at night about £6 a pint.:bitchy:

4 kids, not much chance of us being in a bar, carry outs for us :greengrin The travel lodge place sounds interesting as we will either arrive a day early or leave a day late or maybe even both! we are driving so I haven't quite made up my mind but dont want to waste days in the park, if I pay for 7 days in the parks I'll be there for 7 days! Davie Crocketts ranch was our best option because there are 6 of us. Everywhere I looked we would have had to pay for 2 rooms and pay under occupancy so we opted for a one bedroom 6 berth log cabin.
