non council parking ticket

got a parking ticket today from central ticketing company! car was parked in powderhall! just popped in to see a mate

if you dont pay it can i be taken to court? or do they not have the power?

Not 100% sure on this but I think if you don't pay it, they will hound you for the money, increase the fine and eventually pass it to a debt collecter who will do the same thing, then finally they will take you to court for non-payment of a debt rather than a fine.

I think that's what happens but I may be wrong.
