This reminds me of a brilliant joke about Linford Christie.

Bored with retirement, Linford decides to take up golf. He heads down to his local golf club, a very posh and well to do place.

Upon arrival at reception he declares to the elderly receptionist that he'd like to join the club.

"I'm sorry, you can't" she says bluntly.

"why not - is there a waiting list?" ask Linford.

"No, it is because you are black." says the receptionist.

"That's outrageous" said Linford " how dare you?! This is illegal"

"No, due to a by-law we have exemption and our original constitution stands, and that means no blacks in the golf club" She states.
