It gets a whole lot worse than that.........at work, I had a lengthy telephone discussion with a transexual regarding the provision of her Gender Realignment Certificate (GRC).

Basically, when is a male not a male?............when he is given his GRC. At that point the certifcate holder can apply for a restructured birth certifcate proclaiming their newly found gender. I had to do a bit of research on http://www.grp.gov.uk/ - certainly opens your eyes us to the efforts these people go through to achieve their goal.

Obviously being the consumate professional the discussion was precise and carried out with the greatest of respect.....................although throughout the entire duration, I could only think subconciously that I was speaking to a bloke.
