If you get the chance go and see the Average White Band in Glasgow on the 31st. Saw them on Tuesday in the Liquid Rooms and they were excellent. Still by far the best band to come out of Scotland.

And if anyone replies what about Simple Minds they should hang their heads in shame as well as attending a music appreciation class:cool2:

If we all had the same musical taste then it would be a sad place.

Ticket prices are high but in comparison to groups like U2 who charge £80 for a gig at Hampden [ watching 4 ants running around a massive stage] an intimate gig with Tom Waits at the playhouse is a bargain.
