Been a while since I've had to arrange one of these.
Looking for summit close to East end or West End of town, for commuters, relativley spacious and cheap.

Suggestions please.

Mee too.... doesn't matter how cheap the pub is, buying then leaving drinks anywhere is a big no no. :wink:

I'd say it depends on group size, ages, and night of the week.

Standing order, though many don't like it. Big choice of drink, cheap.

Sounds like I am missing out on a new craze... large groups of people leaving drinks up town. Now that would make it a cheap night out! :wink:

Walkabout at the omni centre is decent for this sort of thing.

The Rutland at the west end would also be quite good.

Try Henry J Beans, good place to start especially with 241 offer.

yeah henry j beans has a 2 for 1 offer 5-8 everyday except sundays i think!

Some of the pubs I've been to are really bad for leaving drinks. You leave one on the bar, go to the toilet, come back and it's gone.

Add in the risk of getting your drink spiked, and you'll come to the conclusion that leaving drinks isn't a good idea at all.
