My mate has just been evacuated from his new flat down Granton way due to a fire.
Looks like a similar situation to what happened in albion gardens a month or so ago.

hmm, interesting. wonder if the predicted property market crash and increased morgage rates are making builders panic therefore burning the whole lot down.:confused:

That was another theory I heard.
Somebody's mentioned seeing an Edinburgh gangster and security firm boss at the scene, Mac-something :confused:
Tell ye it was some fire - could see it clearly from my window. Just hope there's no much damage, my pals laddie has bought one and is due to move in it in July :brickwall

I can't think where that is... heard about it today when i was driving the scenic route to Fife lol along Newhaven,Granton etc then you come out at Lauriston Farm

I was at a party in Cockenzie last night (*cough* this morning :greengrin) and we could see it from there :agree:
All we need now is for someone to burn down the rest of them. They're probably the most hideous buildings ever built in this city and they're situated on our precious shoreline.
