watching it is hilarious so ill save it until the big night, terry wogan is hilarious on it but by the sounds of it ireland will be getting " nae points"

I'm devastated but Ireland aren't in it, they got knocked out in the semis.

RTE, the Irish equivalent of the BBC, are suspected of deliberately sending duff entries as they can't afford to win and therefore end up hosting the competition the following year (which costs a fortune). When they won in 92,93,94 and again in 96 this came close to bankrupting them, the result being that ever since their entries have been, at best, abysmal.

When they won in 92,93,94 and again in 96 this came close to bankrupting them, the result being that ever since their entries have been, at best, abysmal.
This is very true. The last time we won it they wanted to try hold in in Belfast and get the British to pay for it
