Apart from Hibs.net.
I'm not a great browser, and apart from a couple of boring work related sites and some local listings for cinema, theatre, bars, sport, museums, pop music concerts that I use when I'm in a strange town, my internet life is sparse. A bit of bbc and salon.com and basically that's me.
What sites do other netters visit and how frequently compared to HN?

No worries. General rule of thumb is if the stream is not on it's official website then it's not allowed anywhere else - even if it is just a link.

the usuals which have been mentioned:
Facebook, Bebo, Amazon, Youtube, BBC etc etc etc.
Plus:
www.mlb.com/mediacenter - for access to live baseball (i'm guessing this is allowed as it is an official channel which is subscription paid?)
www.pga.com - for the latest golf news
www.dundee.ac.uk - uni stuff
www.ultimate-guitar.com - guitar tabs (yeah, i'm a cheat!)
www.nasa.gov - again, uni related stuff
In terms of other supporters forums, I use pieandbovril (to get an(other)) view , livilions, JKB and a few others when trying to avoid uni work!
Recently, www.justgiving.com/scottmcgrane - to keep up to date with charitable donations to my longest day of golf quest....
Just on the above - www.rotten.com should be member based and not so readily accessible - it's vile and too easy to get to!
