I'm not one to criticise anyone on this board, particularly those in exalted positions but whichever Admin it is that keeps changing thread titles for no ostensible reason - please just stop it! There really is no need, its seems to ba a case of dumbing down for the sake of it and is really irritating trawling through the board in search of something which has been erroneously retitled!
Nothing personal. Honest
Bet this gets the treatment now!

It was pretty tempting. :greengrin
As Number 6 says, we don't generally change thread titles, more likely that the thread has been merged with one discussing an identical topic.

Theres one about Simon Brown on the main board the noo which was changed. And one I started on Friday re the volume of people logged in.
Dont get me wrong, I'm no having a gratuitous dig but it is a bit of a pain.

The Simon Brown thread was indeed a case of two threads being merged, hence the reason for you perhaps seeing a different title than the one you did previously.
You got a link to the other thread you are referring to?

"Help - I can't remember what I called my thread and another was renamed so I'll just assume mine was too" ??:grr:
Ooops - can't put smileys in a thread title :greengrin
So - your thread called "Why is it so busy today"
Are you perhaps confusing it with the post that you made on the thread ".Net Viewing Figures" ??
How is it we can find your posts so easily? We click on your name, then select 'find all posts' :agree:
et voila. :greengrin

I always wondered what happened to my ":modedit: is Paedophile" thread. Surely nothing wrong there?
