Really, what's the point?

Is their sole job just to **** on the road and hold up traffic in Stockbridge?

Barring their jaunt onto the Hampden pitch in 1980(?) to separate hordes of unwashed from doing damage to each other, I fail to see the point of these lumbering oaf's and especially when dragged out on our public highways for what I assume is a bit of excercise.

Take them to a park FFS and get off the roads.

They showed their worth on the last game of the season a couple of seasons back when Hibs & Rangers fans ended up on the pitch & it was about to kick off. Never seen grown men run so fast!

I agree they should stay off the roads as much as possible.

If they are spending a lot of their time on the roads they have to get used to the surroundings on a daily basis so deal with it

Their real worth is in sh*ting all over the crawford bridge during each home game so the locals have to dodge piles of crap (literally) for days after every time they wish to use the pedestrian bridge, which ironically has a couple of predominatley placed signs informing dog owners of £500 fines if their beasts happen to do the same. :brickwall

At least you don't have to dig up half the city and close down half the ****in' city centre for the benefit of Police horses!

we should get them onto the pitch at ER just infront of the away dugout...maybe their magic **** can rectify the lack of grass.

Is it not a case of the police reminding us of their presence? That alone prevents so much, er, preventable crime and is to be applauded.
