Anyone know if any company hires mini buses to 21 year olds? According to the net you can legally drive a mini bus if you are 21 but all the hire sites seem to say in their terms that you need to be 25.
Cheers for any help

This Company (http://www.intack.co.uk/vehicles/for-hire/minibuses/minibus-17str/ford-transit-17str-product.html) Say 25 unless you provide your own fully comp insurance
Ive only had a quick look but almost all wont rent to under 25s.
Try Car and Van hire in Haddington mate. Never rented anything from them before but its worth a go...

Do you not have to have sat a minibus test before you are allowed to drive one?

I've just got a standard driving licence, but it says on it I can drive a mini-bus up to a 16 seater.

If you got your car licence before 1st January 1997 then you have minibus entitlement on it. The rules changed after that.

A lot of companies are now looking for MIDAS certificate before you can hire a mini bus, even with the D1 on your licence.
