Hi guys.
Urgent help needed with my dilemma....
I'm 18 weeks pregnant with a new hibee
Had my season ticket for years now and I fully intend to bring the wee one along to the games from as early an age as possible... all going well BUT
Daddy is a JAMBO.
He doesn't go to the games but is threatening to start taking my poor child to Tynie if I take him/her to Easter Road.
This has lead to quite a few arguements already so I'm wondering if anyone can give me reasonable advice that won't lead to violence.
Thanks!

It's quite simple.
It would be cruel in the extreme to allow a child to grow up supporting a team which will likely be extinct within the next 5 years.

Posion his dinner and then bury him alive in a coffin........or you could just leave him.
Talk to Michellehibs she has a wee boy and her man is of the wrong persuasion too! Her wee boy is a registered Hibs Kids and a Junior Jambo (I think that what they are called)
best thing to do is to take them week about and let them decide themselves, hopefully it will have her mothers good genes
Congrats by the way

Don't worry. Take the child to Easter Road & Tynecastle. I find it impossible to believe that it will fail to choose Hibs.

Thanks!
I can only hope that will be the case if not i might have to try the coffin idea.
Does anyone know if there is an age restriction on when children can start going to Easter Road?

I feel unreasonable behaviour and that all-time classic "irrenconcilible differences" may be the order of the day here

I blame you for the picking a Jambo to be the dad in the 1st place :greengrin

Thanks.
Just because you get some people sounding off about a football match being the "wrong" sort of atmosphere for small children!
Can't wait for his/her first match. I'm due at the beginning of the season so watch out!

Try to not bring the subject up! Only talk about it if he brings it up and then quickly change subject or just blatantly ignore him :greengrin
If he doesn't go to the games at the moment the issue might not come up:agree:
Especially if the yams finish in the bottom 6, he won't want to talk about footie

Pin up a picture of Stevie Fulton at the end of the cot.
Job done.

I could not love a son or a daughter that turned out to be a Jambo.

As you have already been to Easter Road, the child has already been "claimed" by virtue of current residence (i.e. in your belly :greengrin).
That's it, it's the law, no discussion needed...
ENDOF
P.S. If ye desire, regardless of the footballing argument here, you can always advise him he is perfectly within his rights to take the bairn and himself to Tynecastle ... you are also perfectly within your rights to burn his clothing whilst he's out, leaving only his slippers and a Hibs top for comfort :greengrin
P.P.S. Failing that, go down the violence route as suggested by others above
