Depends on how much you want to spend, if its just for a wedding and thats it Next will be fine but if you were wearing it on a regular basis splash out and get a proper suit as Next suits are awful for daily wear.

wont be daily wear. have a suit already but have 4 weddings later this year so fancied buying a John Collins-esq suit to wear.

any idea of good makes etc? i dont have a clue. willing to spend 200 or so maybe a bit more.

£200 will get you the buttons off JCs suits :wink:.

You might think it a bit dull but it might be worth a look - M&S do a large range under £200. :duck:

once i have my house in monaco i will start buying his actual suits lol.

I got a nice Ted Baker suit out of Slaters on George St for a bout £200 about 2 years back, cracking suit. Jenners and Harvey nicks were looking for £350/£400 for the same suit.

You will always get a high quality suit form these guys, and not that pricey - well for a decent suit.

i Used to work with them when they were in Dundas Street, the owner/manager is a Craig Martin, good company.

Also try Slaters in George Street, speak to Robbie Ross, who I also worked with in capital Menswear. got my last suit from there, a nice black/white pinstripe number:wink:

Bowdens(sp) is where I got my last kilt from, full Hibs tartan, its on Easter Rd.

Slaters can be v.good to get a 'designer' suit for a good price however i find their layout cluttered and if you are not a fan of salemen tailing you around a shop then don't go there. Very good alteration/fitting service tho.

M&S is probably the easiest and one of the best, a wide range of prices and styles...competatively priced and some of their 'easy care' innovations work extremely well.

Capital Menswear...Maybe just me but had a couple of suits from there and tbh would not buy another.

Course if you have the (serious) wonga then Crombies is the place to go...

To answer the original question , Cruise sell decent quality suits for nae cheapness at aw but, quality clobber.
