Enzo seems a decent guy, but he has been happy to go down the Frank Warren route - e.g. 'fighting' nobodies in his home town whilst defending a paper title. Haye in his last fight was prepared to go into the top fighter in the divisions backyard, beating Mormeck in Paris. The only reason Warren is putting Enzo in with Haye is because Haye is really a heavyweight (this will be his last fight at cruiserweight) and Warren and Enzo are calculating that this will be a fight to many at cruiserweight for Haye. They hope Haye will struggle to make the weight and, therefore, will be weak on the night. I hope Haye knocks Enzo's lights out in the first round, just to see Frank Warren turn green. Come on Haye!

Fair play to both of them for taking the fight. Both are explosive punchers and neither has a solid chin (as Mormeck.... and Carl Thompson proved with Haye) although they and Bruce Scott who decked Enzo were all big punchers - Enzo was also KO'd by a poor fighter early in his career tho!

Here's hoping Enzo blows him away!!

He's moving up to heavyweight - and he'll be better than most of the huddies in that division just now.

Well done Haye.

A couple of quid @ 15/1 for a second round stoppage made it even better.

The first round was cagey but the second was explosive, Haye stunning Maccarinelli with two big right hands.

Haye backed his foe into the corner and left the Welshman staggering forcing referee John Keane to stop the contest.

The end officially came after two minutes and four seconds of a fight that was dubbed the Battle of Britain but which failed to deliver on all of its hype.

Easiest £90 I have made this year in the bookie

To think some so called experts were asking WHY David Haye was favourite. :bitchy:
