View Full Version : Safe Haven Orphanage (Thailand)
One of the better things about the internet is the ability to be able to help people who are not just on your doorstep. I have currently been arranging collection of toys, toiletries, clothes and basically anything that you think will help and sending off to places around the globe. Its always good to add a few Hibs tops too
We all know about the Dnipro Kids, and a fantastic cause it is, keep up the good work lads. I also send stuff out to Liberia, Uganda and now the Safe Haven Orphanage in Thailand.
I have added a little snippet that I have had sent over from none other than Hibee in Hong Kong who visits them often!!! A great guy and should be commended for his great work. If anyone can help or wants to help, send donations etc please reply below or pm me, you can also get me on

Thanks and most appreciated ...

I am currently trying to help get water tankers to them plus arranging a pipeline. Andy in Hong Kong informs me that people dont believe that the children have to go miles for water and take buckets back to the orphange for the simple things like washing and cooking (until they see the photos). Of course I will post pictures here also when we get parcels sent over.
I hope to get out there myself too and will of course take over as much as I can then.
Thanks

Not blowing my trumpet here (oh matron) but I sponsor a local kids football tournament, I run workshops with kids in Glasgow and all over the UK, I help support Show Racism the Red Card, Railway Children, Children's charter, Fice, Princess Trust, Children First, Save The Children and quite a few more... so for me I do both my thing at home and overseas. I am in the fortunate position to help out, but I put myself in that position. I for one am glad I did. These poor kids never asked for borders or politics, they just wanna be kids. I think its our duty as humans to give that to them.
Cheers for the support all the same
