    The Skids - roll call

Right who's all going to a 40th Anniversary gig next year?

    1. Edinburgh, Dunfy, Weedge or other?
    2. Favourite track?

    Edinburgh and The Olympian

One of them, hopefully, possibly Newcastle.

    Charade.

Buy nothing online unless you check for free cashback here first. I've already earned £2,389.68!

I remember seeing The Skids play their 'farewell' gig at TITP about 10/11 years ago!

    Thinking about Glasgow or Newcastle.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Got tickets for Liquid Rooms - £31 is a bit more than we paid back in the late 70's.

Best for me is still Into The Valley.

I'm going but it's a bit strange how the Scottish gigs are 27.50 plus booking and delivery yet English ones are 22.50 !
But it will still be brilliant got Liquid Rooms tickets
    And favourite track is Charade

If you fancy Newcastle, and would like to meet up for the gig, give me a shout.

I'd probably stay overnight, but I know a bunch of decent cheap hotels.

The drummer from the skids owned or ran a bar, the sax bar on the patch Tenerife, just down from the Dubliner.

He played in the resident band, cant remember their name now, but he's either left or sold it now. There is a good rock band in the place now, russian or estonian if my memory is right?

Prices were ridiculous, and it just never felt like a bar i could stay in long even though the music was decent.

Support for all Scottish dates will be from The Filthy Tongues (3 ex Goodbye Mr Mackenzie members)

Really happy with this as ive seen Martin Metcalfe over the years with various line ups & will be good to hear some of the old GMM stuff along with tunes from the new album Jacobs Ladder.
