    Traffic tonight

Just to remind everyone of the roadworks on Milton Road West. They are a nightmare and best avoided.

If everyone can keep off the bypass, that'd be good as well - need to fire home to pick up my son in Dunfermline then get my Dad at Kinnaird Park, so if everyone can either clog up another route or at the very least try not to have an accident or that, I'd appreciate it

And those at Craigentinny on Seafield Road.
Which makes portobello road/Wakefield Avenue excruciatingly painful at the best of times.

Kevin, stop directing traffic through my neck of the woods - it'll make me late for the game ..........

Take the train. You'd be quickest going to Wallyford.

I think everyone needs to take public transport.

It's better for the environment and keeps the roads clear for my car.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Can't, going straight to work from the game and need my car at work when I finish on Saturday morning (I work away).

Queensferry Road crawling from way before the Barnton junction.

    Grim.

In fact, scrub that. It’s clear when you get past Barnton. 👍🏼

Traffic bad in Edinburgh right now - advice would be leave with plenty of time and if you need to get tickets arrive early

The bypass is always at a standstill on a Thursday night.

Amazing job they’ve done with the roadworks elsewhere though - seems they’ve really thought it through to ensure they can’t be avoided.

    Standard procedure:
    Plan roadworks
Identify all alternative routes that will be used
Dig up all alternative routes at same time
Ensure all works are carried out when Edinburgh is at its busiest

Just took me 30 minutes to drive from Castle Terrace to Lochend Road. Cowgate is pandemonium at the best of times this month but a fire alarm at one of the hostels brought out five fire engines and added to the chaos.
