Let's be sensible and not quote the likes of Ronaldo or Ribery In, but given the chance to get a Riordan/Stokes quality type player in, who is your choice, and 1 to say goodbye to is also up to you
In: I don't know
Out: Joe Keenan - a midfielder and I would like another midfielder in, someone in the creative mould of Boozy, but not him
Thoughts?

In: Kevin McDonald (Burnley) - not getting his game, exactly the type of midfielder we need, bit and strong, good on the ball, scores goals
Out: Anyone of Keenan, DVZ, JJ

I would be willing to let go any of the following players if a move was available for them. Rankin, Thicot or maybe even Stevenson. I'd like to see more of Lewis under Hughes but he has not moved on at all since JC brought him into the team.
From what I've seen under Hughes so far I think we need a real box to box player in the mould of a Pat McGinlay. McBride holds the ball well and Cregg is a real scrapper but we need a really strong running player that will break from midfield and go for a charge occasionally and I don't mean a jinking run just a head down and run at goal.
A couple of players I saw last year fit that description. Gary McDonald at Aberdeen or Andy Dorman at St Mirren would be on my list.
Also not sure of his availabilty but I'd think about enquiring about Barry Robson at Celtic.

We need a player who can play CH or RB .. I think Yogi might know of one.
We can only dream about Kevin McDonald as Burnley have too small a squad to allow him to go on loan. He would be perfect for us however
Keenan will go.Last edited by IWasThere2016; 29-08-2009 at 09:45 PM.

Keenan is basically oot anyway..
I'd get shot of any of the following..
DVG, JJ, Rankin, Stevenson, McCormack and Hogg..
As long as we were bringing in players of the quality like..
Arfield, Barr, Boozy, Anderson, Robson etc etc

I also think that we don't even need Arfield although if we did bring him in I would not complain. Darren Barr would be my priority.Boozy would be good and Anderson would be quite useful to have. I personally think Robson is ***** and past it!
