Hibernian Development Squad starting line-up: Dabrowski, Whittaker, Spector, Johnson, Mackie, Bartley, Agyepong, Bigirimana, Gauld, Allan, Shaw.
Subs: Martin, Donaldson, Campbell, Waugh, Block, Gullan, I.Murray.

    Quite a strong team😄

Should destroy them with that line up. Hibs are currently 10/11 HT/FT which i'm going to lump on

Wonder if Gauld and agyepong will play more than 1 half. If so we could expect them in the squad on Sunday I would think?

That's actually a strong reserve team rather than Development Squad. Good to see so many coming back though I feel sorry for the young guys getting squeezed out of game time.

Totally. A couple of senior players in there and you'd likely have an SPL level side (albeit one that would probably be fighting at the wrong end of the table).

2-0 with 15 mins to go, Shaw with a free kick
Gauld, Bartley, Whittaker and Mackie all off
Donaldson, Block, Campbell and Innes Murray all on

It’s a difficult one with Shaw. He’s too good for these games, but just not quite good enough yet to hold down a first team place. I think next year a seasons long loan in the first division would be the best option. Regular games at a decent level and hopefully he comes back better and stronger.

I'd say he is good enough to go to maybe a bottom 6 SPFL team on loan, a Motherwell or St Johnstone or something.

Unless we sign at least 2, possibly 3 experienced strikers, Oli won't be going anywhere. If he was at another club we would be screaming out to sign him.

    Hmmm!

I don’t think he has improved at the rate expected say compared to a Porteous or a Mackie

He is still young and has youth on his side

It will be interesting to see what Heckingbottom makes of him

    Opinions eh?

  31. #30
I think Oli has the potential to be a first team regular, he's just not quite there yet. Definitely needs a season of regular competitive football. He's missing that swagger and confidence that Cummings's and Porteous have.
