    MINT IN THE BOX?!?

What does he think they’re buying here? It’s not original Star Wars toys from the 1970s
Think he was talking about polos which could double up as a spare wheel

    £73 for the stadium one
The most realistic thing about it is that it would take many months for the average Hearts supporter to complete it.

They'd even feel chuffed 'cos it would no doubt say "2-3 years" on the box cover...

Don’t laugh too much at their expense just yet. The company that make these items have a page on their website dedicated to Hibs with the message “Coming soon”!!

How painfully tin pot is that?

They aren't even trying to conceal it anymore, trying desperately to become relevant again in any way/publicity possible, but everyone is just laughing at them now.

That's a rip off, a genuine Lego set wouldn't cost you that for an equivalent.

    Desperados! 😂 😂 😂

Apparently so. There should be an investigation into how they afforded those special effects. Cheats.

Apparently it's not even the right badge on it. The video they have released for it is comedy gold.

Lego has factories that can make injection-moulded plastic bricks to order and keep production costs down. This is just some tube with a 3D printer doing a very small and expensive run of these things, and I suspect the cost of making these is pretty damn high to begin with. I suspect the margins are a lot lower than you think.

The only saving grace for this business model is that they're maybe not stupid enough to have manufactured the whole run yet. If they have, they'll likely turn a loss when not even the most hardcore Jambo chooses to shell out cash for this guff and they knock the price down below what it costs to make. Otherwise, they make them to order and it's not a catastrophe for these geniuses...

That could be right - when did they change the font?

Hope the Hibs one has sparks and flames too, now I understand why it costs £79.

I can't even make out what Locke says at the end of the video.

    "It's made of Lego" ??
    "It's nae even Lego" ??

They really are a strange bunch.

  26. #146
If that videos been done in response to the bad publicity its brilliant. Got my doubts though.

Still doesnt take away from the fact there tryn to shaft their supporters with an embarrassing failure of a product mind you. £79.99 😂

It must be a joke. Surely they can’t be serious about this. Whoever thought it up needs sacking but they have given us a good laugh right enough!

I reckon it has been, and if that was Hibs releasing that video in response to that PR disaster we'd probably get away with it. However hearts are so spectacularly tinpot that no-one can really be sure if it's a serious video or not. Plus they're so po-faced in everything else they do that trying to pull off a humorous response just falls flat on its face.

    Glorious
