Allan is a terrific player and I loved watching him but I wonder if these stats that managers use now throw up interesting stuff about him.

He’s clearly a very talented player but I wonder if he needs a John Mcginn or a Dylan Mcgeouch covering for him. Just guessing but maybe Lennon feels Christie is a better team player.

I’m guessing the decision makers at Celtic have had their hands full with the Dembele and possibly Boyata situation all day.

Allan didn't have a John Mcginn with him in his first spell. Allan also performed well when Dylan was out injured at the end of last season.

I never understand why some people on this site get great delight in giving certain posters who get info and pass it on in good faith such grief, we have 4-5 genuine guys who have contacts either in football or at the club and they share what they have been told. Some info turns out not to be correct, some not so, are you and the other grief giving posters jealous, it certainly seems that way. The majority of us folk here are happy to get any snippets of info, correct or not.

Been a very decent window, I think honestly we're massively helped by having Lennon as a manager. If we'd lost Allan, McGeouch and McGinn with Calderwood (or Butcher or Fenlon or ................. you get the picture) then we could've signed CR7 and Maradona '86 version and I'd still be pissed off.
