You must have really pissed in someone’s cornflakes this summer mate, there’s a few folk on here who have spent months hounding you, you’d think they have better things to do with their lives than greet and whine about whether you got a transfer correct or not.

from my perspective, cheers for sharing what you hear, I certainly enjoy reading it, and I don’t take it as a cast iron guarantee of a player joining. I hope you don’t let the negative brigade get you down and stop posting what you pick up

Youngster with far less first team experience than Porteous (just a League Cup tie. I think).

The problem is that we've seen very little of most of our signings so far this season, and what we have seen of them has generally been in a patched up side.

Milligan and Agyepong - could both be magnificent players, we're yet to see either kick a ball.

Kamberi and McLaren - we all know what they're capable of, neither of them have been fit enough to make much of a contribution yet.

Horgan - one start, one motm performance.

Mallan - been here for no time, already scored 6 goals. How many of our midfielders have scored 6 goals in a season recently? He's got 6 before August is out.

Hyndman - good pedigree, has looked tidy enough in patches.

Chuck in someone like David Gray re-emerging like a new signing and Ryan Porteous impressing in the outings he's had and I think there's a lot to be positive about.

Losing McGinn and McGeough had the potential to be a nightmare - hopefully we've avoided that.

Thinking about the players we've signed, I'm not convinced we've signed entirely different types of players from those who left.

Mallan could very much be similar to McGeouch. Dylan was could find a pass, bring the ball down and start attacks when he first joined, but it wasn't until recently he had cut out the bad habits of losing his man and getting caught wrong side.I don't think Mallan can come out of a ruck of players like Dylan, but he can hit a dead ball. Some similarities there.

Horgan isn't as good at protecting the ball as SJM, but he's certainly brave, and bursts forward with the ball at his feet. He's a bit of a mini hulk too.

Milligan is the new prospect in the team. A proper defensive mid, who has experience, reads the game and is strong. I think he may bring that game management that Lennon is looking for, but we won't know until it happens.

I don't know what to make of Hyndman.

From what I hear about Agyepong, he'll frustrate and delight in equal measure. Hopefully he doesn't take 6 months to develop a final ball like Barker, and then disappear to show good he can be elsewhere!

And we've got Swanson, Slivka and Marvin backing them up.

We're able to be very selective at this point.

As I said, mostly on loan to League 1 or 2 clubs. He is a year or two older than I thought but that makes it worse as he has had game time but not impressed. My Palace pals feel he will be released at the end of this season and although that doesn't mean his career would be over it doesn't look like he could step straight in to the Hibs side.

In simple terms I disagree with the term 'pish'. We've made some quality signings. Still a few yet to play. Potentially another 1/2 tonight.

Thinking back to years gone by and the gash we've bought, I'd say this has been quite a decent window. Certainly no where near pish.

Huns were always going to splash cash for SG. Aberdeen are doing what they do. Yams transfer moves don't worry me in slightest.

All subjective I guess.

Yeah maybe pish was a bit harsh, I just don’t feel after the season we had last season we have taken big strides to push on again and showen a bit ambition. We can’t go through the season either the squad we have and expect to compete on every front again imo. We are light up top, boyles better out wide and shaw should be used sparingly as don’t think he’s at the levels needed to regularly hang your hat on. Lose flo and I think we look light.

End of the day as always will trust Lennons judgement, one or 2 we surprises additions tonight and I may have a different outlook 👍😉
